Civil Harassment Restraining Orders Differ From Family Law Domestic Restraining Orders

Hassment Restraining Orders differ from Family Law Domestic Restraining Orders in that the person harassing you is not a family member and/or does not reside with you. A person may seek protection if: 1. The defendant’s conduct is intentional; and 2 The defendant has does a series of acts (more than one) which seriously alarm, annoy, or harass you (the plaintiff); and 3  You (the plaintiff) have suffered a lot a emotional distress; and4. The Defendant’s conduct has no legitimate reason and is not protected by the Constitution.The packet of forms necessary to apply for a Civil Harassment Restraining Order is available for purchase at the clerk office at any court location, Monday through Friday (excluding Court holidays) 8:00 am through 5:00 pm. Definition:
Sometimes referred to as ?meals on wheels,? home delivered meals are hot and nutritious meals delivered to homebound persons who are unable to prepare their own meals and have no outside assistance.

Energy Assistance

Definition:
These programs can provide low-income elderly homeowners and renters with funds to help pay home utility and heating costs. Eligibility requirements may vary from state to state.

Transportation

Definition:
Programs that provide door-to-door transportation for people who may be elderly or disabled, who do not have private transportation and who are unable to utilize public transportation to meet their needs.
